In
all living cells
there is a
molecular structure known
as Ribosomes. It consists
of two subunits
namely large subunits and
small subunits.
Ribosomes were first discovered by a
Romanian cell biologist
George palade. Ribosomes serve
as a biological
protein synthesis. It
serves to convert
the instructions found
in mRNA into
chains of amino
acids to form
proteins. Both prokaryotes and eukaryotes have
the similar ribosomal subunits.
